======================================================
The Octoberfest party was a hit! What better way to bring in the fall
Season with bratwursts, sauerkraut, corn and potato salad. SVIA
usually caters the food in but this time we asked board members to
bring their best German dishes. Thank you to everyone who brought
and cooked the food for the event. After dinner we played Bingo to
wrap up the night. Congratulations to all the winners and thank you
to everyone who came out it was really a fun night.

If anyone is interested in our association and wants to get involved
please let one of the board members know, we are always looking
for new members and volunteers to deliver the informers.

Super Bowl Party II - Sunday, February 9th
======================================================
The November issue of Chicago Magazine ranked the 25 best pizza
restaurant/bars in Chicago. While 24 of the 25, were either downtown,
near Westside or near Northside, there was one on the Northwest Side…our own Frank’s pizza on Belmont.
“Frank’s doesn’t get the love that some of Chicago’s other classic tavern-Style  spots do, and that’s a shame as it serves a model version. Started by  The Pianetto family in 1952 and owned by the Prosio family since 1968, Frank’s has      had the same recipe all along. The crust is crisp and paper thin and perfectly dressed every time. Our favorite, Frank’s Special, comes with onion, mushrooms, green peppers, and an excellent house-made Italian sausage.”
Congrats Frank’s!
