Multi-Family Front Yard Sale It’s once again time for the Schorsch Village multi-family yard sale! 

 
Where: School Street at Oak Park and the 3300 blocks of Rutherford, Normandy, & Natoma, including other homes nearby.

When: The event will run Sept. 7th, 8th, & 9th, from 9-4.Sale items include: Household goods, tools, used clothing, children toys, collectibles, etc.

SVIA Men’s Club Golf Outing

SVIA Golf Outing &Adult After Party

Schorsch Village is hosting its Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, September 22nd at the

Indian Boundary Golf Course:

8600 W. Forest Preserve Drive,
Chicago, Illinois

Tee off time 8:00 a.m.

Shot gun Scramble.

$65 a person

Includes: Golf, Cart, After Golf Party at Schorsch Village Hall (6940 W. Belmont) with appetizers, great dinner, cash bar entertainment,(refreshment donations - $1.00 soft drinks, $2.00 domestic beer, $3.00 wine and mixed drinks). Prizes for low gross foursome, closest to the pin on two par three holes, longest drive for men and women. Check-in at course by 7:30 AM. Hall doors will open at 1:00 PM so you can go directly to the hall after golf. The donation for those interested in attending only the evening party is $12.00/person. After Party open to all adults.

Schorsch Village ‘Italian Night’

Saturday October 13th

Please join us on Saturday October 13th at the Schorsch Village Hall for a Italian dinner and a night of fun.

Menu: Italian Cuisine, Salad, Bread, and a Dessert

Entertainment: Music and games

Donation: $12 suggested donation for dinner. Cash bar. Bring your adult family and friends. Enjoy a fun evening of socializing with friends and neighbors.

This is an adult only event.

Save the Date for Dec. Christmas Parties

The final 2018 SVIA Party will be on Saturday,Dec 10th. Join us for a holiday night of fun! There will be a great dinner along with music and dancing. Who knows, maybe Santa will drop in! And don’t forget the Kids party starting at 11am. 




 

Community Corner

Mark your calendars for the Annual Shredding and Recycling Event!
The 38th and 36th Ward Offices,  along with Representative Luis Arroyo  will be hosting this event.  When: Saturday, September 15th. This is a  great way to discard important documents and have them safely shredded.  Any questions contact: Alderman Sposato’s office 773-283-3838 s or Alderman Villegas office 773-745-4636   Where: St. Priscilla’s Church 6949 W. Addison Lower Parking Lot on Sayre. 
 
Bowling Starts
Once again a Fun and Exciting year of Bowling starting on Sunday September 16th @ 11 AM.Brunswick Zone 3111 River Rd.  
 
We Support Our Police Signs
We are very excited to announce that our new design of SUPPORT OUR POLICE signs are here! Signs are now available at our 38th Ward Office located at 3821 N. Harlem Avenue Monday through Friday from 9 am -5 pm. The cost of these signs is $5.00. ALL profits go to The 16th District Caps and 16th District Animal Rescue. Stop in and purchase your sign today and show your support.

Children in Need:
Watch for the November/December informer issue on helping children in need this holiday. Schorsch Village plans to assist community members in connecting with children in need by buying them clothing, books, toys or basic essentials.
